REPLACEMENT PUSH BUTTON IGNITOR
KIT #20183101
ISSUE 9804
(PLEASE SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.)

MODELS 1202 AND 1502
(2 SPARK MODELS)

This new ignitor is a different style than the ignitor that is being removed, but it is a direct replacement.  After removing the control knobs and control box, remove the electrode wires from the ignitor terminals.  Remove the ignitor from the bracket by pressing the locking tabs.

Insert the new ignitor into the mounting bracket such that the side terminal faces away from the bracket side.  Attach one electrode wire to the pin terminal on the bottom of the ignitor and slide the other over the flat terminal on the side of the ignitor.  Check for a spark at each electrode tip (See Instruction Manual and Cookbook) before remounting control box and control knobs.

MODELS 2002, 3002, 4002, 5002, SF-2, AND 6002
(3 SPARK MODELS)

This new ignitor is only a two spark ignitor.  This will require that the rotis burner be manually lit using a long (at least 3" long) wooden match or a butane lighter with an extended probe.

After removing the control knobs and control box, remove the electrode wires from the ignitor terminals.  Remove the ignitor from the bracket by pressing the locking tabs.

Before installing the new ignitor, remove the screw holding the rotis electrode to its mounting bracket and pull the electrode completely out of the grill.  This will leave only the main burner electrode wires available to attach to the new ignitor.

Attach the enclosed IMPORTANT label to front panel of console base on 3 spark models.

WARNING
